Evaluation analysis

In my poster I used the eye catching picture which will make the audience get a clue about what the film is going to be. Also I used the title which looks like a little child has written because it looks scarier. By looking at the top of the picture you can also see that the film was made from the same director as ‘The Hills Have Eyes’. Probably people that have seen ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ and think that that film was really good, they might think that the film ‘Unspoken’ is really good because of the same director.
The meaning that the text and the image are created is that the girl’s lips are sewed together and the title is ‘Unspoken’. It shows that the girl cannot speak and the film will have to do something with not talking.
The trailer conventions that I have used in my story board, is the parts that show a bit about what’s going to happen in the film, how the film starts. Also, in the story board I have included some lines to tell the audience some hints about the film, to make the audience think of what is going to happen in the film, like how the 'secret will never be told'. It will make the audience think about it and make them want to watch the film to find out.
I have represented the main character in my film as girl that cannot speak and that has some kind of secret that people cannot find out because she cannot speak. That girl also has some kind of past that explains of what happened to her. The other two characters; a mother and a daughter are represented as a family without the father because the father has divorced the mum and is living his own life and has his own family. The mother and the daughter have moved because they want to leave the past behind them and start a new life.
The film company that is producing my film is Paramount Pictures. I chose this company because this company creates lots of horror for example like ‘My Bloody Valentine’, ‘Friday The 13th ‘ films and is one of the best knowing companies. It is one of the world wide knowing companies so people around the world watch that companies films.
